    Best even for the tenative

Posted by Unknown on 4th May 2012

This was my first robot. As a 26 year old girl with not much robot experience (ok, any robot experience) this was fantastic! No sodering, which I loved. Great instructions. A fantastic purchase for anyone who loves to tinker.

Fun project to build. One of the best instruction manuals I have used. Fun to play with after you build it.

    Great hardware, adequate software

Posted by Vincent Sanders on 22nd Dec 2011

Bought this and built it with my kids, had great fun. The software for the USB control was not Linux compatible, so I wrote some. You can get it here http://kyllikki.github.com/EdgeRobotArm/

Great Introduction To the Robotics Hobby

Posted by Unknown on 22nd Jan 2011

I am 34 and have always dreamed of building a robot. This introduced me to the basics and was a lot of fun to build. It also required a lot of patience to work with the smaller parts. It is important not to over tighten the pincer assembly as it will trip the safety switches and not allow the pincer assembly to work right. Overall a very good product.

as a 12 year old boy building and playing with this robot was an awesome experience. I highly suggest it for a present. Also when making the head or grabbers, make sure you use the right metal poles

    Kid very happy

Posted by Cesvasquez on 13th Jul 2010

I bought this for my 9 year old son. He couldn't stop working in the assembly until he finished about 8 hours later. He did it all by himself just following the drawings in the manual since he doesn't speak english. He loves this project from the beginning.
